Privacy Policy

Our promise. Your photos stay on your phone. Nothing is deleted without your review. You decide what stays. We scan on your device to find cleanup wins — not to upload your gallery.

1. Photos stay on your phone

GalleryMint: Photo Cleaner ("GalleryMint", "we", "us") is built to clean your gallery on your device. We do not upload your photos, videos, thumbnails or photo filenames to our servers. Scanning to find junk photos, WhatsApp media, screenshots, duplicates and large videos happens on your phone. You review everything before anything is removed.

2. Information we do not collect

GalleryMint has no login and no account. We do not collect:

Your name, email, phone number, age or gender
Your contacts
Uploaded photos or uploaded thumbnails
EXIF location data
Photo filenames
Face or person identities

3. Information we may process

To run the app, keep it reliable and handle purchases, our backend may process:

An anonymous user id and install id (random identifiers, not linked to your real identity)
App version and basic device/platform metadata
Attribution metadata (how you found the app)
Event analytics (anonymous usage events that help us improve the app)
Aggregate scan counts and sizes (for example, how much space was freed) — not your actual photos
Purchase and entitlement verification data, processed with Google Play Billing
Free usage counters (to keep free limits fair and prevent abuse)
Feedback text, only if you choose to send us feedback

4. Feedback you send us

If you submit feedback, the text is written by you and may contain personal details. We treat it carefully, do not log it unnecessarily, and do not broadly expose it in analytics. You can request its deletion (see "Deleting your data" below).

5. Google Play Billing

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Google Play Billing. We do not see or store your card or payment details. We receive only the purchase verification needed to unlock your premium access.

6. Third-party services

We use a small number of services to operate the app — for example, app distribution and billing through Google Play, and our own backend for anonymous events, attribution and purchase verification. Before release we map every active service to the Google Play Data Safety form so the Play listing reflects exactly what is collected.

7. Where your data is processed

Our backend runs on Cloudflare's global network, so the limited anonymous data described above may be processed on servers outside India. Wherever it is processed, it is encrypted in transit and handled under this policy. Your photos are never part of this — they stay on your phone.

8. How long we keep data

We keep anonymous operational data only as long as we need it to run the app, keep free limits fair, verify purchases and prevent abuse. Aggregate, anonymous analytics (which cannot identify you) may be kept longer. You can request deletion at any time — see below.

9. Deleting your data

Because GalleryMint is anonymous, deletion is tied to your app install. You can request deletion of your anonymous data — including the anonymous user record, attribution snapshot, event batches, entitlements, free-limit counters, purchase verification logs and any feedback text.

Visit Delete my data to send a request, or open Settings → Privacy → Delete my data inside the app, which shows your anonymous id and can trigger deletion for you.

10. Children

GalleryMint is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.

12. Contact & grievances

GalleryMint is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [CITY], India. For any question about your privacy — or to raise a grievance under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act — email our grievance officer at [email protected]. We aim to respond promptly.
